How to write answers in HSC Board Exam- For English Subject

Last Minute Tips –

1) Choose four writing skill topics (one from each sub- question 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D) and prepare them thoroughly.

चारही उप प्रश्नांमधील प्रत्येकी एक रायटिंग स्किल उत्तमरीत्या तयार करून ठेवावे.

2) Prepare poetic appreciation properly. It’s compulsory writing skill topic.

कवितेचे रसग्रहण चांगले तयार करून ठेवावे हा कंपल्सरी येणारा प्रश्न आहे.

3) Prepare ‘mind mapping’ activity using different topics. Do good practice of the mind mapping activity. Just search related words for the given topic.

माईंड मॅपिंग या ऍक्टिव्हिटी साठी वेगवेगळ्या विषयांवर सराव करून उत्तर लिहिण्याचा प्रयत्न करावा. दिलेल्या विषयाशी निगडीत शब्द शोधण्याचा सराव करा.

4) Do solve “Summary writing’ topic. Reduce the given passage up to one third. Give title to summary.

समरी रायटिंग या टॉपिक साठी दिलेला परिच्छेद एक तृतीयांश इतका कमी करावा. समरीला शीर्षक द्यावे.

5) History of English Novel has MCQ type or objective type activities. So read the topic minutely.

इंग्रजी कादंबरीच्या इतिहासामध्ये MCQ प्रकार किंवा वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकारच्या कृती असतात. त्यामुळे हा टॉपिक बारकाईने वाचा.

6) For all other novel topics, remember the story, characters, theme, setting and few dialogues.

इतर सर्व कादंबरी टॉपिक साठी, कथा, पात्रे, थीम, सेटिंग आणि काही संवाद लक्षात ठेवा.

7) Read twice all the prose and poems to remember the content. You should know what is given in every prose and poetry.

कथानक किंवा विषयवस्तू लक्षात ठेवण्यासाठी सर्व गद्य आणि कविता दोनवेळा वाचा. प्रत्येक गद्य आणि कवितेमध्ये काय दिले आहे हे आपल्याला माहित असले पाहिजे.

8) Read the figures of speech and poetic device properly. Try to compose your own poem in the exam as per the given suggestions.

शब्दालंकार व अन्य पोईटीक डिव्हाईस यांची माहिती घ्या. दिलेल्या सूचनांनुसार परीक्षेत स्वतःची कविता तयार करण्याचा प्रयत्न करा

Guidelines for writing answers:

1) Each activity has to be answered in complete sentence/s. One- word answers will not be given complete credit. Just the correct activity number written in case of options will not be given credit.

प्रत्येक कृतीला पूर्ण वाक्यात उत्तर द्यावे. एका शब्दातील उत्तरांना पूर्ण गुण दिले जाणार नाहीत. पर्यायांच्या बाबतीत जर फक्त कृती क्रमांक लिहिला तर गुण दिले जाणार नाहीत.

2) Web diagrams, flow charts, tables etc. are to be presented exactly as they are with answers.

वेब आकृत्या, फ्लो चार्ट, तक्ते इ. जसेच्या तसे उत्तरपत्रिकेत काढून त्यात उत्तर अचूक लिहावे.

3) In point 2 above, just words without the presentation of the activity format/design, will not be given credit. Use of colour pencils/pens etc. is not allowed. (Only blue/black pens are allowed.)

वरील मुद्दा क्र. 2 मध्ये, वेबचार्ट, टेबल इ. चे स्वरूप/डिझाइनचे सादरीकरण न करता फक्त शब्द लिहिले तर त्यांना गुण दिले जाणार नाहीत. कलर पेन्सिल/पेन इत्यादी उत्तरपत्रिकेत वापरण्यास परवानगी नाही. (फक्त निळ्या/काळ्या पेनला परवानगी आहे.)

4) Multiple answers to the same activity will be treated as wrong and will not be given any credit.

एकाच कृतीची अनेक उत्तरे चुकीची मानली जातील आणि त्यांना कोणतेही गुण दिले जाणार नाहीत.

5) Maintain the sequence of the Sections/Question Nos./Activities throughout the activity sheet.

संपूर्ण कृती पत्रिकेत विभाग/प्रश्न क्रमांक/कृती यांचा क्रम सुसंगत ठेवा. उलट – सुलट लिहू नये.

6) Write answer to new question on new page. Maintain the sequence of all the activities. Answer all sub- questions in order of sequence.

नवीन पानावर नवीन प्रश्नाचे उत्तर लिहा. सर्व कृती क्रमाने पूर्ण करा. सर्व उपप्रश्नांची उत्तरे क्रमाने द्या

7) Write all answers in good and clean handwriting. Do not over-write any word. Do not stain your answer sheet with ink.

सर्व उत्तरे चांगल्या आणि स्वच्छ हस्ताक्षरात लिहा. कोणताही शब्द जास्त गिरवू नका. तुमच्या उत्तरपत्रिकेला शाईने डाग लावू नका.

8) Once you have finished answering the questions, do not forget to check the answer sheet at least twice. Re-read what you have written. If you find any errors, you can rectify them.

एकदा तुम्ही प्रश्नांची उत्तरे पूर्ण केल्यानंतर, किमान दोनदा उत्तरपत्रिका तपासायला विसरू नका. तुम्ही जे लिहिले आहे ते पुन्हा वाचा. तुम्हाला काही त्रुटी आढळल्यास, तुम्ही त्या दुरुस्त करू शकता.

9) For ‘True or False’ activity, write sentences as they are and state if they are true or false.

10) Do not write questions or suggestions in the answer sheet. Write only answers.

Understand the Activity:

Organize Your Thoughts:

Support with Examples:

In writing skill topics back up your points with relevant examples, illustrations, or evidence. This can demonstrate a deeper understanding of the topic and enhance the credibility of your answer.

लेखन कौशल्य विषयांवर उत्तर लिहीतांना संबंधित उदाहरणे, स्पष्टीकरणे किंवा पुराव्यांसह तुमच्या मुद्द्यांचे विश्लेषण करा. हे विषयाचे सखोल आकलन दर्शवू शकते आणि तुमच्या उत्तराची विश्वासार्हता वाढवू शकते.

Use Proper Formatting:

Pay attention to the use of specific templates. In the writing skill topics like- E- Mail writing, Blog writing, Framing interview questions, Appeal writing, etc. needs specific templates or designs. So use them to write answers. These templates are essential for getting full marks.
